What is Face Yoga?

Facial exercises aim to lift, tone, and activate facial muscles, fostering a more youthful appearance, symmetry, and improved skin. The stimulation of blood flow leads to increased collagen and elastin production, activating the lymphatic system to reduce puffiness and detoxing, resulting in brighter and more vibrant complexion.

Beyond the aesthetic benefits, improved circulation from Face Yoga can enhance concentration, alleviate headaches, and studies suggest that daily practice may reduce signs of aging. Prioritizing self-care by daily face observation and listening to your inner voice not only helps you look your best but also contributes to overall happiness and well-being.

FAQ
  • How long does a daily Face Yoga routine take?
It takes approximately 10 to 15 minutes a day. Perform your daily routine both morning or evening. Find a routine which works best for you. If you can do only do 2 min some days, it's fine, if you can do 15 min even better. But keep it daily for faster results. Consistency is key.
  • How long does it take to see results from face yoga?
Results from Face Yoga vary from person to person due to differences in faces, skin types, ages, and lifestyles. Generally, after 2 weeks, you may start noticing improvements in the face and neck. After 2 to 4 months, you will likely see fewer fine lines, less tension, and a healthier, more energized appearance. Within 6 to 9 months, most people report looking and feeling many years younger and more relaxed. Consistency is key, so aim to practice every day or at least 5 to 6 days a week.
  • Is it too late to start face yoga?
Starting Face Yoga at any age is beneficial. It’s never too late to strengthen muscles, improve skin tone, or boost circulation. It's also never too late to reduce stress and tension in the face, improve lymphatic drainage, or enhance skin health. All ages can benefit from relaxing the mind and body.
  • Am I too young?
Face Yoga can be enjoyed by everyone from as early as 20. Firstly be used as a preventative measure. The earlier you start the exercises the less likely you will see signs of aging and tension in the face. As much Face Yoga is an aesthetic tool, the wellness aspects are incredible beneficial for a younger face, mind and body.
  • Will face yoga cause more wrinkles?
We constantly express our feelings through facial movements, but when we intentionally tone facial muscles, we promote the skin’s blood circulation and help tighten the area. This means we aren’t causing any new or unwanted wrinkles since we’re controlling the movements. Our Face Yoga method is a safe and effective way to achieve healthy, toned, and glowing skin.
  • Is face yoga safe for acne-prone skin?
Yes, you can safely perform Face Yoga poses even if you have acne-prone skin, as we focus on the inner muscles. However, I don’t recommend doing massages, as too much stimulation can lead to infections and breakouts.
  • Can I do face yoga after Botox treatments?
If you’ve had Botox treatments, consult your doctor to determine how long you should wait before exercising or massaging the face. Exercise may potentially shorten the effectiveness of Botox, so always seek your practitioner’s advice. Once cleared to proceed with Face Yoga, you may need to adapt some techniques due to movement restrictions.
